All races include: chip timing, aid stations, event t-shirt with option for women specific cut, finish line photos, premium finisher stickers, and top finisher medals per 10-year age groups. Race registration includes an Appalachian themed lunch. Additional lunch tickets must be purchased for guests through RunSignUp by March 24.
The Summit Bechtel Reserve - Nestled in the wilds of West Virginia, the Summit Bechtel Reserve is an expansive 10,000 acre property boasting world-class facilities, scenic views, lodging and recreational activities that are second to none. This impressive property is home to numerous notable features such as one of the largest amphitheaters in the world, over 70 miles of multi-use trails, one of the largest Outdoor Skateparks in the country, a 3,300 ft zipline and much more. Several new additions to the property include a private boutique hotel and a family adventure camp. Advanced reservations are needed for all lodging. Add on activities and meals must be purchased in advance by 3/24. Discount pricing provided for registered racers.
Packet pickup will be held Friday April 7 from 5PM-7PM at Pinheads New River Gorge! Pick a lane, play a few games, and have dinner with fellow participants the night before the event! There may even be some prizes for high scores!
This event is rain or shine and racers will be provided safety guidelines, full driving and check in directions, and online access to finisher results.
This event is a series a Signature Events hosted by Active SWV with all proceeds supporting free local physical activities programs and events.
